Sound Arts
This photograph taken circa 1985, is Sound Arts, Bob Walter's former recording studio.
With a specialty in synthesizer tracking and sound design, Sound Arts was frequented by Academy Award winning composers including Gustavo Santoalalla, Bill Conti, David Shire and Giorgio Moroder as well as other well known composers such as Mark Isham and Danny Elfman when he was still recording with Oingo Boingo.
Sound Arts is also where John Carpenter recorded the scores for Halloween and The Fog (Music Coordinator on both films: Bob Walter). In addition to much of Bob's music production, it was also at this studio that he did his work as the main independent sound designer for the opening phase of Epcot Center and directed his first two audiobooks with Bruce Dern and John Lithgow.
